« on: Thursday 08 June 23 09:56 BST (UK) »
Good morning,

problem with a surname in the BT's (burial) at All Saints' Parish Church, Batley.  The Parish register is missing.

Doraty or Dorathy [Dorothy] [tempted with Russell] buried May 15 [1632]

Boxed on image.

Thank you for taking the time to assist.

Regards,

Janet

Agree with Dorathy fforrest.

Initial ff is just a way of writing a capital F, so we would write Forrest.

Thank you so much GR2 and Watson for a very prompt reply.

I had been swayed by Russell and totally disregarded the double 'F'.

Of cause it is Forrest.

Janet
