I’ve now cancelled, I took a screenshot of the confirmation and I’ve now also received an email

So feeling hopeful that I can renew with discount next month.

Hi Trish,
may I ask if you have been able to use the half price worldwide offer from an Australian account? Is there a different link or will the one that's regularly posted (which is a co.uk link) work in Australia?

I've recently made contact with someone in Oz who has an ancestry tree, he's mentioned he is having to give up the sub as its now too expensive. I don't want to get his hopes up till I've checked with someone for whom this half price offer has worked.

This was happening to my friend with a company. I sat with her as though she was going to make an order when it came to payment all her cards we listed, all now delete and never say "Save may Card"

How did you DELETE the card number? All I could get to was a screen to EDIT the card details. Every field was blank and it would not let me save until I had filled every field with card no expiry date, security code etc. Short of entering random numbers, there would no way I could remove the card details registered with them. I have now gone through several screens to cancel membership, persevered to the end and now got email confirmation.

I've just cancelled my subscription and intend to try this offer link when it expires. I dread to think how much money I've paid them over the years , all at full price . Fingers crossed it will work.  ;)

My sub expired 08.07.2023.

I cancelled mid June.

The account did work until expiry date, and no money for a further sub has been taken by Ancestry.

I never save a card number, on principle.
