In family research, as with most of the forms of research, you should work from the known facts back in a logical manner. So, start with yourself then build your family tree back generation by generation.
I would suggest you do as much research as you can before asking for others to trace your family. When you are posting requests be sure to give the fact or possible details you have already found as well as exactly what you need help with. It has also been suggested at least once that you choose more distinct titles for each thread. Imagine the confusion if there were multiple threads by different members called "Descendant ancestor," "Past relative," etc. For example, this thread would have been better names something like "Anne Carey born 1580."
"Where she lived, worked, marriage, death how she passed, her family, kids and any possible war records"
this seems to be a generic statement you've used before? or do you really think that Anne Carey had some sort of military record?
