Abode in 1815 baptism record?

I’d appreciate help with the abode in this parish record of 1815 from Watton at Stone, Hertfordshire.
I think the occupation of Joshua is publican, which is odd, because in every other record he is a (house) painter. Maybe he just fancied a change.

The WP page for Whempstead specifically mentions that depsite being very small, it used to have a pub.

Added: looking at the position of the pub (The Gate) on old OS maps, and aligning with the 1840 tithe map, it’s clear that The Gate was not there in 1840, and so is irrelevant to this man being a publican.
