Words written on top of 1931 Canadian Census
« on: Wednesday 26 July 23 14:44 BST (UK) »
Hello,

This is a long shot - but there are words written sideways overtop of the designation "lodger" in the Canadian census that I can't make out at all. To offer some context the household contains a 'head', a 'domestic' (my grandmother), and 5 children who are hers but not his, and all listed as 'lodgers'. Any chance anyone can make out what this is? Below is a link to the ancestry full page (my attachment is too big), and a close-up screen shot of the words that have been rotated 90 degrees. Thank you!

I agree with Kay, "children of domestic".
