Just to note that the marriage and banns say Shadrach FREEBRY was of Stainsbury, and Mary BEACH was of Didbrook. He signs, she with "x". Witnesses are Robert HODGKINS and John TOMS (who signs a few on the register).

I notice that there was an earlier son Charles baptised at Winchcombe (with a sister Elizabeth) on 1 Jan 1796 - the baptism says parents are Shadrach and Elizabeth. Charles' burial 2 Oct 1796 has parents Shadrach and Mary. So you could be looking for either name.  :-\

Children to Shadrach and Mary were Ann baptised 20 June 1789, Robert baptised Nov 1792 and my 3x great grandad baptised 1798, so maybe the double baptism on 1st Jan 1796 of Charles and Elizabeth was written in error. Do you think the cleric could have made a mistake as one of the children had the name Elizabeth?  I am inclined to think that Mary Beach was my relative's mother. Any thoughts?

Quite possibly the mother's name was written in error on the baptisms of Charles and Elizabeth. The burial of Charles 1796 defintely says of Shadrach and Mary.

From the burial that looks likley found by jonw65, Mary was born c1758.

There is a John BEACH and Anne REEVE married at Didbrook 26 Aug 1753.

Not that this really helps, as I can't see any baptism to this couple either at Didbrook or nearby.
