John Vivian --- Charlestown
« on: Wednesday 09 August 23 09:53 BST (UK) »
Hi Listers
I am trying to trace John Vivian and family who lived in Charlestown Cornwall in the 1850s. He is the son in law of one of my relatives (Mary Roberts who was widowed and then moved into the Vivian's house) and believe they all lived in a house in Charlestown. Trying to find out more about John when and where he was born and when he died
Thanks
Drobbo

A quick look on the Cornwall OPC gives these burials at Charlestown parish for John VIVIAN:

14 July 1883, aged 72 (residence - Charlestown)
27 Aug 1891, aged 57 (residence Boscoppa)

John and Mary Ann Roberts married 6 May 1835 St. Austell, Cornwall

Most Census he is born c 1811 St Austell
Mary is widowed 1891 so 1883 burial appears to be him.

He is relatively easy to find on the various censuses - mother-in-law Mary ROBERTS is with them in 1841, 1851, 1861, and 1871. do you want the references for these?
