Help deciphering a word in a 1924 telegram please

This is a heartbreaking read regarding my great great uncles death from pneumonia in 1924. This telegram has come from his father “Charlie” and has been sent to his mother “Emily Snow” from the military hospital Shorncliffe.

There is one word I’m not sure on. I think this could be “”Jack”? or perhaps a military abbreviation “OCK”? As Charles Snow was in the military himself but I’ve not been able to find any abbreviation for that so I would greatly appreciate any other interpretations of the word.
