In a muddle with FTM2019
« on: Tuesday 22 August 23 13:15 BST (UK) »
Wondering if this has happened to anyone else?  The profile of my Great Grandmother seems to have attached itself to my Grandparents, like my Grandfather married her aswell, and they had my Father as a Son.  She's also linked with her husband too in a different place with her own family.

I tried to delete her in one place, but it deletes her in both places (I've backed it up so been able to restore it) Not sure I'm making much sense(?) and I'd probably have to delete all the hard work from my Great Grandparents to future generations (such as mine etc) and re-do it all again.

She's only listed once in the left hand list.  But on the family tree she appears twice.  She seems to be the only one in the tree listed twice.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.  Thank you.

Go to the offending profile & then edit where you can edit the relationship
where you can add alternative parents selecting the correct ones.
You can also delete the spouse & add the correct one.
I haven't tried this as I've never had that problem but seems the way to go.

Thank you for your advice, but that didn't seem to work.  However, when I logged out and back in again, it somehow corrected itself (eventually) strange!!
