Hi Cazza and welcome to RootsChat.
Bringing this one back up the board as it appears to have been overlooked. Not an easy one.

Hi Cazza and welcome  :)

I'm trying to work out the date/place of death ~

I think Isabella and John Forrest married Bellingham Q1 1869

John is a widower on the 1871 living Close Head, Otterburn, Aged 38 and born Elsdon.

There's a daughter, Isabella, aged 10 months and also b. Elsdon. This child was registered June quarter 1870, Bellingham. Mother's Maiden Name is Rutherford.

There is a death registration of Isabella Forrest, aged 30, Sept quarter, 1870, Bellingham.

The word that you indicate doesn't look like Close Head/Closehead.

I'll look at  maps but it's getting late tonight/this morning.

Yes Maddy. My map (the tiny link)  shows the location and it's just to the NW of Closehead.   There happens to be a stud there.

If you know Otterburn, it's up the road from the hotel. I've walked around that area as it's not all that far from Newcastle  :)

Add  -  I see that you've added a map link now. I prefered the Streetmap for this one.
