+I think her name is Jane rather than Jean. She is the mother of the youngest 'Willie".  This might be the family in 1911
http://census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Antrim/Lisburn/Sloan/200511/

As well as 10 year old Wiliam they also have 6 year old Samuel and have been married for 12 years

Willie was born 11/12/1900 and his mothers 'former' name is shown as McElroy
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1900/01978/1762270.pdf

This may be Jane Bowman's marriage to an Edward  McElroy
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1891/10674/5890004.pdf

Edward drowned in 1892 in a canal and was not found for 2 months.  Death Ceritifctae is at 15/2/1892
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/deaths_returns/deaths_1892/06050/4724054.pdf

Here is a marriage in 1898 between a William Bowman and Jane McElroy nee Moore
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1898/10434/5799028.pdf

I say 'a' marriage as the ages for William does not match the age in the censuses
On this marriage the father of William is given as George Bowman.

See below for the correct marriage (from Alan) of Jessie Catherine Baxter and birth of 'Willie' from Shanreagh

This may be the birth of Samuel Bowman in 1886
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1886/02584/1955210.pdf

Father William and mother Mary Jane Smith Bowman

Here is a marriage that may explain the Smyth children
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1885/10865/5967555.pdf

On this certificate  William gives his father's name as Henry Bowman, a watchman.

Mary Jane's maiden Name is given as Anderson.

Aaah and the father's name is Henry Bowman on this marriage certificate   So looks like Jessie not Jean nor Jane!

The young Willie's birth cert may be incorrect.

Here is the correct certificate

Thankyou Shanreagh.
Have to admit..bit nervous about the ages from the census for example...if the wife Jean or Jane was born 1869 and had a first marriage to Smyth Lizzie born 1881= 12...bit young...and Thomas born 1877 =8

There are several marriages and I may have found another. It is William who has married multiple times. Jessie Catherine Baxter was a spinster at the time of her marriage to William.

Jessie Catherine Baxter Bowman is the mother of Little Willie aged '0' in the census.

Mary Jane Smyth/Smith Bowman is the mother of Samuel Bowman and may be the mother of the Smyth step children to William Bowman.

I am looking for the births of Anne & Thomas Bowman now

Well done guys....Brilliant....however....Im gunna go with the birth of Samuel 1886 Belfast Down,
Please steer me in the right direction as youre going a bit fast for me....on the wedding certificate of William and Mary Jane Smyth it refers to both being Widow and widower...would that make the two Smyth kids Mary Janes from another marriage??? then Mary Jane died and William takes up with Jessie Baxter.
William being married before Smyth and Baxter. Remembering Thomas Bowman was born 1877 Willian being born 1854 works
