Hi All, I have hit a wall with the National Archive, which states that my Paternal Grandparents She UK born and He Hungarian' but the documents are sealed.
The reply was as follows and the appeal was rejected.
"Having considered the public interest test, we have decided that this information should be withheld. I regret to say this means we cannot make this record extract open to you or to the public in general.
The information in this extract is covered by section 38(1)(a) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000. This exempts information if its disclosure under this Act would, or would be likely to endanger the physical or mental health of any individual"
Any thoughts as to what could be the reason or if there is a way to see the content?
