Going to guess that seeing as 'bellows' are there in line 6 before 'brisses' that these are brasses, perhaps like horse brasses that were attached as ornaments aorund the fireplace.

My brain wants to call it the 'Queen' parlour or perhaps it is the 'green' parlour?

ETA spelling!

Regarding the Iron, I think it reads 'one iron Halle shouell & lugs (?). It is one item, a fire shovel but I'm not certain about Halle - could we see a little more of the text, especially if an H is included,

What part of the country is this from? If it's a dialect term, this would help us to narrow down the possible meanings.

Meanwhile, Joseph Wright's Dialect Dictionary offers among the meanings of 'hale', which in some regions has 'hall' as a variant, something for hanging pots over a fire, but the only place I spotted having that combination of variant and meaning was Suffolk.

With some idea of where it's from, it might be worth a closer look. (And the interactive online version allows filtering by region, county etc.)

Yes, good thinking arthurk.  It is the inventory of James Medlycott of Ven House, Somerset.  He was a lawyer and MP for Milborne Port.

I'm not sure whether this is already clear to you, but I think the last word in line 5 of clip one and line 3 of clip two is tongs.

The first letter is the same as that in two from two brisses.

The -on- letter combination is the same as -ou- in counterpane, and his u and n are the same.

Very many thanks horsley for the tongs clarification, it's certainly a challenging piece.
