James Keogh b1908 Wicklow
« on: Tuesday 24 October 23 01:01 BST (UK) »
Looking for information on what happened to this person whose mother and father were Peter Keogh and Anne Byrne.  He is on the 1911 census but cant find any trace of him after. Any info appreciated.

Is this the family in 1911?
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Wicklow/Avoca/Ballinamona/896367/

The family seems to move quite a bit
Joseph was born in Ballyhad

and mother Anne died in Ballykillageer (assuming there wasn't two Letitia Keogh with mother Anne)

do you know if they stayed in Wicklow after their mother's death, have you got records for the other children to see if James appears as witness/informant on anything.

James would have been very young when his mother died, quite possible he was put into care, sort of thing they did back than.

Thanks for the replies, this is the same family in the 1911 census, and Peter's father was Michael, I have older records for Joseph, he went to America, John stayed in Wicklow and Letitia went to London.

There was talk Peter married again but I couldn't find any details, do you know where Elizabeth Buckley was from or where they lived after?

I wonder if he went into care is there any way of researching this?
