Occupation - 1861 census of a wealthy man?
« on: Sunday 29 October 23 15:35 GMT (UK) »
Hi, Can't make out the second word on the second line...is it proprietor?

1861 England. Wealthy young man with an inheritance. His widowed mother is the line above, "fund holder".

Thank you in advance :)

I think it says Landed Parprietor, but obviously meant to be proprietor.

I'll second that - landed proprietor.
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
