Hi Folks. Sorry to be back so soon. I have found two Winds who did the same year in the same place. William Wind aged 93 and Robert Wind aged 11. They are both recorded as passing in 1819 in Eighton Banks, Durham. The records are on Page 38/39 of the Lamesley Burial records.
This is very interesting to me as Eighton Banks is slap in the middle of my area of interest (Lamesley, Whickham, Gateshead). It also places this William Wind (born ABOUT 1726) in a date and area of special interest as my line comes to a brickwall at "a William Wind" in the Lamesly region (Cows Close) estimated to be born in the early 1730s. 1726 is close enough to be of great interest. The problem is, who is this family? I assume that Robert aged 11 is the son of a "Wind" and William aged 93 is the "grandfather Wind".
So who is this family and most especially, where was William born and how does he fit in?
I have asked something similar previously, but not in this context. These two deaths may just locate a family I have not been aware of. I appreciate any input from folks with more experienced sleuthing skills than mine.
