Joseph, William & Esther Wilkinson 1834-49 Skelton-in-Cleveland
« on: Wednesday 08 November 23 23:17 GMT (UK) »
Hi All, i have been searching for some time now for any information for the above names.
I have what i believe are their deaths (WW = April 9th 1934, and EW 12 July 1949), and their son, my ancestor Joseph Wilkinsons Christening date of the 29th March 1834. I know William was a Butcher/Farmer and that Joseph may have had 2 siblings, Thomas and Isacc Wilkinson, born a little before him in 1820s.

If anyone has any other information on any of these people, or can recommend where I can look to gain it, that would be much appreciated. I feel i have exhausted all the online resources that i know of online, but any info that may be of use would be fabulous.

Thanks

Faye, I do not understand. If William and Esther had a son in 1834 then how come they died in 1934 and 1949? They would have been remarkably old.

Good afternoon, Spelk.
I thought that, too, but I think the dates in the body of the post have suffered a typo error, and should be as in the heading. I have found a Death for Esther 10 July 1849.

Stefan

PS Also a possible Burial for William 9 April 1834, giving an approximate birth 1774.
