By whom: Captain Stewart
Period(?): 5 years
Born:  Kittery, Maine (USA)
Age: 22 years, 10 months.  ?
Occupation: “Shiprivitter”?
Blue eyes, Dark ? (hair), White dark complexion? (possibly Caucasian but dark skin/tanned?), 5’ 10 1/2” height.
Regiment: ?
Deserted June 11, ‘95

Served in Battery? E, 4th U.S. Artillery. Deserted as noted above.
“Again enlisted under the name of Clarence R. Prince. Enlisted 30 April 1898. Honorable discharge 30 March 1899.”

Thank you Lisa! This is a big help. Interesting that he enlisted in 1894 then deserted. But later joined during the Spanish-American War, but under an alias of Clarence R. Prince. I don't know the reasons why or what circumstances that led to these events, but it may just be a mystery. Thanks again. - Mark
