« on: Monday 20 November 23 16:01 GMT (UK) »
Hi Everyone. Back on the forum after a long break. My two maternal Grandparent lived in villages next to each other in Southern Island.  Edward keaney lived in Kiltyclogher  and his wife to be Mary McGowan in the next village. Not sure whether they married in Ireland or Liverpool They were however in Liverpool by 1921 the date my mother was born But can't find what year the came here and by what form of transport. Please can anyone help?

Here is their wedding - they married in 1920

The site will be useful for looking for other family members. You just have to solve a ‘captcha’.

There are no records for travel between Ireland and England.

....and according to heywood's marriage find of 1920-

Edward Keany lived in the townland of Corracloona in the civil parish of Cloonclare.

Mary Anne McGowan lived in the townland of Meenagh, also in the civil parish of Cloonclare.

Both townlands are SE of the village of Kiltyclogher and are adjacent to eachother.

You could try Electoral registers or any family events - weddings etc for the addresses.

Electoral registers were suspended during the war, I think,  but there is a likely family  at 17 Rycot Road in 1945.
Does this seem right?
