What's her occupation please? (English marriage, 1869)
« on: Tuesday 21 November 23 20:14 GMT (UK) »
Hello, can you tell me what the bride's (bottom line) occupation is please? Highly likely to be cotton-mill orientated as that was the dominant industry. Two years later she was a cardroom hand in a cotton mill but I don't think that's what this record says for her occupation in 1869. Would also like to know her residence (bottom right). Area: Shaw, Crompton, Lancs.

Wonder if ‘Loneside’? According to Wikipedia there was a Loneside mill, maybe associated worker’s dwellings?
