Hello again,not sure if I have asked this question before,Will a marriage cert from 1831 show the father's names of the bride & groom.I have found online the bishops transcripts of the occasion

The short answer is no.
Marriage certs. were introduced in 1837 so what you have
is a Parish marriage record.
There's are some non-Conformist marriage records which include
parents names but with regard to C of E or Catholic they weren't.

No - civil registration came in in 1837 which is where you could obtain a marriage certificate. Prior to that the only records would be the marriage entry for the particular church/chapel.
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids. They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!

Dont do that! If they appear on 1851 Census with pob/dob a baptism may be found
