Marriages prior to 1.7.1837 do not show fathers names - how have you determined that the following marriage was your Thomas Richards?  He would have been 31 at the time of marriage

I dont have any evidence except there are two Thomas Richards from Llangadwaladr one born 1803 the other 1812   same parents   looked on ancestry and could find no new information...
Our Thomas arrived Tasmania 1840 so not in any Welsh census and was happily married here in 1855
The 1812 Thomas fits better as his record says age 26 = born 1814. only trouble with this bloke is it says he died 1871..

DNA has proved we have the right tree/linage as we have a close match to Hughes also a Jones of Llansilin and Richards of Hafod Lanarmon Mynydd Mawr [MM]
