Does a baptism record give DOB?
I am looking for the exact date of birth for
Albert Herbert Withers
Religion: Anglican
Baptism: 23rd April 1888
Born in Leicester in 1888
His father was called Joseph Withers

Are you sure his middle name was Herbert?

His birth reg shows mothers maiden name Freeston & birth registration is only Albert as is 1891 entry - parents Joseph & Elizabeth

The birthdate above refers to Albert only - no middle name  & his marriage in 1915 to Lilian Bodycot shows no middle name

Albert Withers b 27.3.1888 died 1976 - again no middle name

His death registration 1976 gives date of birth

The 1939 register with his wife Lillian had the same date of birth

With the exception of the baptismal entry there is no other official document showing a middle name

Did he marry Lilian Bodycot?  There is a 1910 marriage to an Annie Margaret Clarke and the 1911 shows an 1888 birthyear

We need more info from you re how he connects to your FH
