US Army Enlistments Abbreviations
« on: Sunday 31 March 24 00:39 GMT (UK) »
I'm trying to figure out what this abbreviation means under the complexion, hair, and eyes column. It looks like "sk", but may be "Dk" if the D is capitalized. If it was "Dk" though, why would there a separate term for brown (Bro) and black (Blk)?

Welcome to Rootschat bookerino:-)

to clarify, left to right are the column headings eyes, hair and complexion?

If so, line one would read Brown Eyes, Dark Hair (could be a dark shade of any colour) and Fair Complexion
line two would read Grey Eyes, Black Hair, Dark Complexion

If the headings are in a different order that may make a difference

Boo

Thank you for the welcome! Yes, the order is Eyes, Hair, Complexion. Here is a larger clipping of the page where you can see that "dk/sk" is used in each column.
