Help to find a person's parents (King/Aitken)

Hi everyone,
I am having trouble finding the parents of Margaret May Aitken and details about her. I have lots of information about her husband - Frederick Russell Lyne King who was born and died in Timaru, New Zealand (1929-1975) but I have been struggling to find any details about Margaret. Any help including any details, especially her parents would be deeply appreciated! ☺️

Would their marriage certificate give any details?  Am not familiar with NZ records.

Any idea if she was native or emigrated?

She was still alive in 2010, and I see no death on NZBDM.   https://www.rootschat.com/links/01t4n/

If Russell Frederick (not Frederick Russell) was born 1929,  she could very well still be alive.
In which case we cannot help further. (Roots chat policy)

Good find. A deposition by one of the brothers (looks like he used a diminutive of his second forename on the death notice for Russell) The name used for the other brother probably just a nickname.

So that gives names of Margaret's parents. Should be easier to use NZ BMDs now we have some death dates

Robert Aitken married Barbara Shewan in 1884
can't get anywhere with May Brasell, maybe spelling variations need to be worked through
