Has this person died, if not you will need to remove their name from your heading and post. Rootschat does not allow us to post about anyone who is living

You've also mistakenly posted on "How to Use RootsChat board (Please don't post requests here)".
Just ask a moderator (via Report to moderator) to move your request to a more appropriate board where you might find an answer.

Can you clarify exactly what you mean by "I am looking for AW" Are you researching his Ancestry or are you hoping to make contact with him as a living person - something that is not allowed on Rootschat
www.192.com
has entries in Liverpool for that name & also in Wirral

I am trying to find out his ancestry for a friend who has next to no knowledge on her grandparents and beyond. All she knows are their first names and believes this man could be her uncle.

The 1945 AW's parents married in 1936 - see
www.freebmd.org.uk
William P Wainwright/Margaret T McDermaid which does not match the names you quote
6 children were born to that marriage between 1936-1945
Your friend must have more details of her grandparents? She needs to start with a copy of her mother/fathers birth cert to get her grandmothers maiden name
