Identify this street?

This an extract from a Ships Manifest of July 1929.

I can't decipher the street name. It seems to be 17 Slanworth Drive Belfast but I can't find a Slanworth anywhere in the street directories of 1924 and 1932 (Lennon Wylie). I've tried Glanworth and Elanworth too, no luck.

Any offers? Thanks.

Possibly Glanworth Drive.A few mentions in papers for Gamble family around that time.

Sorry, I'm such a numpty. Yes it's there. I must learn to slow down.

Curious about the Northern Whig article - how can I access that please? The name involved is indeed Gamble, an Uncle by marriage (American Citizen) who went back to America with my Aunt who emigrated.

The John mentioned must have been his father. Curiously he's still listed at 17 Glanworth Drive (iron moulder) in the 1932 Lennon Wylie street directory. Perhaps that's not unusual.

Articles available at British Newspaper Archives or Findmypast. There are 4 or 5 birth/death notices for the Gamble family.
It used to be if you registered free with the BNA you could get three free pages, it  may still apply.

Thank you, I'll look into that.

It's curious how my small mistake had led to the discovery of a newspaper notice that I would otherwise know nothing about. I've notice this elsewhere in my ancestry searches - other peoples little mistakes provide information that would otherwise be uncovered.

Serendipity I suppose.
