Is he the John who is a painter & glazier in 1851 living in Tynemouth ?

There is a baptism of a John Hunter b. 1805  on the same day as his sister Eleanor on 16 may 1806 at Tynemouth, see this copy of the Bishop's Transcript on familysearch. If you do not have a " log in" it is free to set one up.

Father George is also a painter, which is what caught my eye. Mother is Mary Atkinson, both natives of the parish.

Do these names occur amongst the children of John & Ann?

You will need to eliminate these from your enquiries :-

There is another John Hunter of N Shields listed on Durham records online, b 1807 and Christened 1810, son of James.

Also John son of John Hunter a miner of Shiremoor,& Elizabeth Porteus  chr. 28 sept 1806 Tynemouth see below BT page:

Last entry on same page is John chr 15 Oct 1806, father is James Hunter a master mariner, mother Elizabeth Scott, see here:

That's great, yes My John was living in Tynemouth in 1851 & was a painter & glazier, so John was the 3rd son of George & Mary? & Eleanor their daughter a year apart?, my John & Ann had a son called George & a daughter called Mary.
So is it possible to find John's other siblings?
Thank you for finding the info.

Looks like George and Mary married in Tynemouth 1 jan1796.

The quickest way to find siblings is to search on Familysearch.org as the Tynemouth baptisms are indexed, and you can input the parents names using the "more options" on the search. Then look for the children   in the BT once you have the exact baptism dates, as this will usually give more information, especially between 1798-1812 known as the Barrington years after the Bishop who stated what information he wanted written in the registers.

Who witnessed John and Ann's wedding? Any of his parents or siblings?
