Hello everyone.
I'm not sure if I have already ask this.
Please can anyone help me with something.
I'm trying to find out where William Young was born and if possible his birthday.
All I know is that he married my Gran Mary Ann Cooper in 1916 and he passed away a year later.
I'm not sure if he was born in liegh or not

But I would really appreciate any help possible.

William's age at death in 1917 is showing as 37 years old.

Have you got a copy of the 1916 marriage? This would help in confirming his father's details to try and work back to his family and birth.

William's marriage and death took place in Leigh, Lancashire.

There is this possible entry for him on the 1911 census:

James Caldwell 31 Baker And Confectioner b. Golborne, Lancashire
Lilian Caldwell 22 wife b. Widnes, Cheshire
Lavinia Caldwell 1 b. Leigh, Lancashire
William Young 31 Brother-in-law general carter b. Northwich, Cheshire

Depending on the 1916 marriage date to Mary Ann, the soldier named above was "single" when he was discharged on 14 Aug 1916. He had quite a few medical conditions.

His place of birth was Lynn, Cheshire (according to his service record).

Trade: Farmer.

Mother's name is Mary Ann Young. Address - 25 Farley (Fowley?) Common, Glazebury

When he attested in July 1915, his address was 1, George Street, Leigh.

I wonder about this 1891 census entry in Wigan, Lancashire:

Further to his mother Mary Ann Young, I see a woman living with that name at Fowley Common Glazebury in the 1901 and 1911 census. Born 1850/51 in Cadeshead, Lancs? 

It appears she connects to the Young family Monica found in the 1891 census.

Thank you all for your help with William Young.
Afew of you have found Mary Ann Young. As being the wife of William. Please can I Say. As far as I know William and Mary Ann didn't have children during their marriage. Mary Ann was born Mary Ann Cooper in around 1890. Her father Samuel Benjamin Cooper was born around 1870.

The children who are listed as being Mary Ann Youngs are not my Gran mother's.
How ever she did have children later on after William Young had passed away. As she got married again.
During my Grandmother's life she had 5 children as far as I know. 3 boy's and 2 girls. The 3 boys was all born before 1918
My dad 1910. My uncle John 1913 and my uncle Bill 1915.
Her 2 daughters where born after 1930 as far as I can understand.

I'm really grateful for all your help with what you have done for me.

How ever I do have a copy of the marriage certificate for William and my Gran.
But it's really faint. I can't see what it says.
I'm hoping to try and get it done better.
