Canadian regiments in Worthing circa 1940-1941
« on: Monday 27 May 24 16:02 BST (UK) »
Hello, someone in my families father was presumabley a french canadian soldier in the war( their mother had hinted about it before she died and her dna is 48% french). I know the likelyhood of finding someone specific is near impossible but, does anyone have a list of the regiments that where in worthing around 1940 to 1941 and/or the areas that they where in. Much appreciated

Why Franch-Canadian, as opposed, to say French, or French-Colonial?

There is this organisation - Canadian Roots UK (the contact person is in Worthing)

https://www.canadianrootsuk.org/

"Please note there are no records held within the UK showing  where Canadian Regiments were stationed in the UK at any given time, all the billeting records were destroyed during the 50's."
