Ooh, good. Death cert. is found!   Interesting to see how off track her age is.
I suppose that Susan ‘s mother’s surname is more likely to be Callaghan / Callahan.
I see she was Elizabeth. Perhaps she was witness at her daughter’s wedding, and the same one who appears as witness to some of the Welsh children baptisms.

I thought I would post an update on my reply from the NYC Vital records, they unfortunately did not find a birth record for Fanny Henry from their search.

I heard back from the cemetery and James Henrys burial, they gave me the grave number and did not have a note of a headstone at the site sadly.

Thanks for the update. A shame that a birth record has not been found.
I am still inclined to think Fanny was born late 1887, and perhaps while her parents were still in transit towards New York city.

Thanks shellyesq, I searched the New York City, Police Census, 1890 and the correct names do appear but as you mentioned its only viewable at a family centre are these US based? I'm based in Scotland.

There are locations in Scotland.  https://locations.familysearch.org/en/gb/scotland

Thank you shellyesq, I assumed this service was outside of the UK but great to see there is one nearby me!

Do I just take the links/names of the family members there to search and view the pages?  Can you get copies to take away?

Thank you so much for your help, hope these records can be fruitful.

The one near me is open very odd hours, so I haven't been.  Others may be able to chime in with better info than me, but I get the impression that you have to do the research on their computers.  Not sure if you can get copies or not.

Am I correct in thinking peoples names should be on lines close to each other if they were a family? If so struggling to pair up some of the lines!

Hope this may be of use.

I think the listing is similar to other census records, so I think family members would be on nearby lines.

This has some more information about the 1890 police census - https://libguides.nypl.org/nycpolicecensus/format

This page shows a piece of one page of the census, among other items - https://libguides.nypl.org/nycpolicecensus/example
