I am researching a James Riley, might have been born 1788, he served with the 43rd (Monmouthshire) Regiment of Foot, and discharged around 1834. He became a Yeoman Warder at the Tower of London serving from 22nd Aug 1834 to his death 19th Dec 1835, he is buried in the Chapel.
He was wounded at the Battle of Corunna.
