Between the r and the f. 4th letter from the left, just before the f in fold. Could be mistaken for a u.

To me it looks like Bamfold or Barnfold but I can't see a place name to match :-\  Could it be a house name?

Wheres the "n"?

As emeltom says, between the r and the f.

Its never easy when just presented with one word, no idea if its a place (as in village/town) name or an abode (farm name etc) combined with not seeing any more of the document or being told where it can be viewed we don't have the option of comparing letters with other words to be more sure.

All I can say is that I see the word Barnfold.

There is a place, more of a street i just found, not quite where it should be but very close called Barnfold
