Joseph KELLY
« on: Tuesday 25 June 24 14:47 BST (UK) »
Hi, I'm searching for a Joseph Kelly and family.
I have the 1901 Irish census entry but can't find a 1911 record for them.
I've attached the 1901 census document, they had two more children Elizabeth born 1902, Joseph born 1906. They may have been in Britian in 1911.
Thank you in advance.
Fran

Better to post a link to the actual record as the snippet you showed doesn't given any place details.

You two more children mention "Elizabeth born 1902, Joseph born 1906" and it would also have been helpful to post their birth details so we can start by looking for family in 1911 census in same area.

If this is Josephine's birth then mother's maiden name Connor-

Hi, many thanks for the quick replies, I'm a bit of a novice at this, the birth registrations look right to me. I can't find any more information on them after that.

Bridget and various combinations of children are in and out of both North and South Dublin workhouses

By 16 May 1907 Bridget is a widow, a dealer and of no fixed residence. Described as destitute.  Josephine and Lizzie are with her

Bridget left 31 Dec 1907 - there's a note saying not to be let out withuot children. However it looks like Josephine stayed there until 1915 when discharged to "a situation"  (ie a job - servant?). Not sure about Lizzie

Joseph snr and Jnr are alive in October 1906 - the former mentioned, the latter in the house with his mother and two sisters

If you have Access to Ancestry there are several tree's on this family I don't know how accurate they are .Always best to check on details 1 tree contains several photos of Elizabeth Kelly
I checked out the marriage index for Elisabeth Kelly she married Robert John Smith
1935 Kings Lynn Norfolk
We can't give details of the 1939 register but the birth date is the same 27 June 1902

Death for Elizabeth Smith
1981 Age 79 years
District Market Harbourogh Leicestershire
Birth date 27 June 1902
