Presumably this is the death of Isaac Dixon senior, referred to in reply #2 , although the age given is different:

Thank you all again, still trying to sortit out.

I have a copy of a document from1821 which names Isaac Dixon, Yeoman of Wilton, Haile as the father of Ann Dixon of Burton High, St Bees. Not sure which Isaac Dixon this is and if he was the Farmer at Townend

This is not at all relevant to the research on Isaac Dixon, but is linked to Town End Farm.

From Gate's New Shepherd's Guide for Cumberland, Westmoreland, and Lancashire by Daniel Gate, 1879

Thank you again for all the information. Still trying to unravel it.

Looks like the Tysons and the Dixons were closely connected.

I have a copy of a newspaper advert signed by the uwners and occupirs of land in Wilton and Haile requesting gentlemen to refrain from hunting and shooting on their lands signed by 18 people including Henrt Tyson and Isaac Dixon  , August 1826 and a marriage bond between William Tyson and Ann Dixon 1823
1851 William Tyson lives in Weddingshaw Farm

Still not clear where Tysons and Dixons live at that time 1823,and who , if either, live in Town end farm

Best wishes

Hello

What is the layout of Town End Farm, Wilton, Haile? On the 1851 and 1861 census Tysons and Dixons appear to be living side by side in Town End. Is it one, two farms or a collective name?

Best
