I have a John Humphrey born 30/7/1769 @ amberley. died 15/4/1847 @ bury. married to margaret gardner 2/2/1795.

Just to add some confusion, I see this family was living in Rackham-in-Amberley during the 1841 census:-

Unfortunately, they did not state the place where they were born in the 1841 census.  However, Rackham is a hamlet and people that were born there sometimes say they were born in Amberley on later census returns.  People born in Rackham were baptised in St Michaels's, Amberley up until 1895.
