charles alfred quinton
« on: Thursday 25 July 24 15:50 BST (UK) »
I am trying to help a friend who has been told a grandfather Charles Alfred Quinton born 1878 died 1978.
I think they are wrong - but it maybe me.

I believe he died southwark age 50 1928
He had a number of children with his wife was called Jane

I believe they married 1901 Southwark and she was called Jenny Bradshaw
there last know child was Irene Gladys b.12 oct. 1926
Could someone supplied me with census between 1841 & 1882 hopefully one will show she is widowed and I can tell him his relative has the wrong info.

1911 and 1921 census -

Charles and Jane are living at 222 Westmorland Road, Walworth with a large number of children.

1939 Register - Jane is now widowed and living at the same address with several children, and possibly her widowed mother.
