Hello - I am looking for information on the Hopedene Maternity Home in Elswick Newcastle Upon Tyne.
Before registering here I was following a conversation about the home - though I appreciate it was probably and old conversation. I am helping my friend trace his sister who was born at Hopedene Maternity Home. I would value some advice on this. Thank You.

Hi Maidmarion,

Are you still trying to learn about Hopedene as I have a fair bit of information on that mother and baby home.  Is there anything in particular that you're hoping to find?
