Birthplace of Mary Hearn
« on: Saturday 17 August 24 08:19 BST (UK) »
Hi,

Attached is an extract of the record from Census; 1851 Lambeth, Surrey.

It shows the birthplaces of William Hearn, his wife, Mary Hearn and his sister Mary Ann Hearn.

William and Mary Ann were no problem, as I knew that they were born in Exeter.

The problem with William's wife is that there are several Bucklands in Devon.

There is a word written under Buckland and it would be good if someone can decipher it, please?

Thanks,

Gordon

Lots of details about the Parish in the link I gave in my earlier reply.
I lived in Devon for the best part of 20 years but hadn't heard of it before today!
