FindMyPast
1928 Electoral Register
George Coleman and Florence Coleman living at Becton Cottage, South View Crescent, Winnersh.

Winnersh is not far from Binfield
There were several COLEMAN / Florence? marriages in that area
The one I want was William Arthur and Florence Belcher so sadly this isn't;t them...shame it would have been a useful link. They may well relate though so I'll pop the record in my data bank.. :)

Brilliant Galium, wondering now if they returned to SA after the birth of William George.

I have Florence Belcher bapt. 1880 in Binfield (d/o George & Emma Elizabeth -late Payne) and can see her in censuses 1881 (6mths Binfield), 91 (aged 10 Binfield),1901 (aged 20  Hoathly, Sussex).

There is also a Florence  Belcher in 1911 (born Chelsea, London!!!) but residing in Cookham Rise, Berks - aged 29 & single Domestic Servant.

Cannot be sure its the same person but Cookham is only a couple of parishes to Binfield.

I have not found any other info on this Florence.

Well that is definitely the family the contact has, he has said they spent time in S. Africa but the marriage doesn't give the father's name so we still can't say she is the same Florence  the bride was born in Bracknell. very near to Binfield so very likely to be right.
