Will of 1583 help
« on: Thursday 22 August 24 06:18 BST (UK) »
I have attached two parts of a will made by Jone Tibb of Stratton, Dorset in 1583.  Below is what I can make out of the two parts.  I have added some punctuation of my own.  I would appreciate some help with the unknown words.
Many thanks

Tibb 1
"buried in the churchyard of my ….of my … church of Stratton.
Item I give unto Thomas Tibb my ……………….. and a bushell of wheat
Item I give unto Phillipp Devenishe"

Tibb 2 follows on from Devenishe
"my …….

Item I give unto Edith Tibb … my bigger …. And a russet cloake
Item I give unto John Devenishe Richard Devenishe[‘s] youngest son a ….. and a little pan
Item I give unto my son, John the younger a bushell of wheat and a bushell of barley
Item I give unto my son Robert Tibb a bushell of barley and I ………….
Item I give to Phillipp Tibb a ….
Item I give Robert Devenishe of Bradford Peverell a bushell of barley. Item"

Many thanks Vance for your very quick reply, your transcript is much appreciated.
I thought I had attached the first part of the will but it apparently didn't upload.  Here it is now with my guesses.

Tibb 1
"buried in the churchyard of my ….of my … church of Stratton.
Item I give unto Thomas Tibb my ……………….. and a bushell of wheat
Item I give unto Phillipp Devenishe"

Thank you
