I am not misunderstanding, I am not talking about the usual DNA but the new ProTools, as I said before.
I am not a mean person who does not want to help other people to build family lines thank you very much, I have reasons for not wanting contact by certain people, that is MY choice and I shouldn't be made to feel bad about it by strangers who know nothing about me or my life. I do help people build their family lines, as I do here on Rootschat, but it is up to me what I choose to share and should always be that way. No one owns me but me.
I do know how to disable messages, and also block members. I don't want to take these measures, I just want my privacy to be respected, which is my right and has been breached by the ProTools.
Obviously i have offended you despite not meaning to, i was just offering you suggestions on your comments about the matches list not showing the correct relationships. In my case if i set a relationship, i see that in both the full match list and the shared matches for an individual (both before and after pro tools). Also as i mentioned ancestry obviously have changed the default displayed values in some cases, for reasons unknown to us, but it is only the suggested value still

:-)  Because if they don't do pointless changes they might have to start doing ones we all want
