Help with reading army record
« on: Wednesday 02 October 24 00:34 BST (UK) »
Can anyone make any of this out? Particularly the places. I see that he was at Poona (Pune these days), Wellington, Madras and Shorncliffe. I particularly want to figure out where he was in the mid 1870s.

Is there another page?

That is the last page of the medical history. The following page discusses his different regiments. The page after that lists all the countries he went to which might be useful.

I think there must be at least 1 page (or more) of medical records that are missing.
The last date you have is Dec 1875, but it looks like he was discharged in Dec 1887.
It's hard to imagine there were no medical issues between 1875 and 1887.

Thanks, I was aware of the other thread, but had not got involved.  :)
I suspect gap in his medical records will have something to do with movement to another regiment.
