Have you used the FindMyPast uploader

https://www.findmypast.co.uk/tree/upload-gedcom

If so, what error/other message does it return?

Note that it does say:

Please note that any media files referenced in your GEDCOM won’t be imported. Files can be up to 140MB with maximum 120,000 people. To upload a larger file, contact support@findmypast.com.

Hi Gadget, I don't get that far, I click on the upload button on FindMyPast, it opens a window to my desktop but doesn't show the GEDCOM file, I suspect the problem might be with RootsMagic, I might be doing something wrong but I don't know what.

Ancestry has a gedcom generator:

Quick instructions

Quote
Downloading your tree from Ancestry®

1   From any page on Ancestry, click the Trees tab and select a tree.
2   In the toolbar on the left, click More (three dots) and select Tree Settings.
3   On the right side of the Tree Settings page, under Manage your tree, click Export tree. If you see      Download your GEDCOM file, skip to step 5.
4  Click Export. The button will begin spinning and say Generating a GEDCOM file.
5 When it stops spinning, click Download Your GEDCOM File. The file will be saved to your device. To open the GEDCOM file, you'll need an app or program that reads GEDCOM files.

I do not follow what you are trying to do.

There is no link between Roots Magic Essentials and any other online website, RME is basically a read only app.

Try creating another Gedcom, download it and specifically use this one upload that to FindMyPast, do jot point FindMyPast at Roots Magic Essentials.

Do check if FindMyPast has a Gedcom people size limit, Gedcom has its limits.

Do read my  Reply #2, Biggles,  and do go gentle with the OP. You do sound 'shouty'
