Father is a Butcher in 1891 but when Margaret married 1894 he is a Steward. So he may have been on a boat in 1901.

I have seen mariner seaman  on his other children s marriage certificates

I thought he went from being a butcher to going to sea but

a descendant posted that he was a mariner on his own marriage certificate

Fanny Dorcas is a popular name in the family

There's one b c1859 to William Charles, so sister to your William. Their brother Clement and his wife Elizabeth also have a Fanny Dorcas b c1889

Is this not him?

William Fuller
Age at death    48
Q1 1898
Swansea Vol 11a p   616

Matching burial index for William C Fuller at Danygraig Cemetery, Port Tennant. No precise burial date. Looks like his father was also buried there in 1874

His sister Fanny Dorcas Parsons was also buried there in 1898 - report of funeral and inquest in SW Daily Post of 14 February 1898. https://newspapers.library.wales/view/3357430/3357433/23/WILLIAM%2BOR%2Bfuller
William isn't listed as a mourner, so maybe had already died.

On 9 March his wife Mary was advertising in relation to the payment of insurance money without her signature as a result of his death - https://newspapers.library.wales/view/3357530 - see first item under Miscellaneous in column 3

Posts crossed Mabel

Fanny Dorcas FULLER b1859 m widower
Edwin  Parsons.a cattle dealer in 1881 lists her father as butcher

She died in 1889

So I'm.guessing the other 8 siblings died after 1911

& Their mother miscounted number of children she'd  had by 1911 or 1 has been disowned !

The FULLER s liked to use names of ancestors but I've not come across a Frances/ Fanny or Dorcas in earlier generation.

Clements daughter may have been named in her honour .

Great find Mabel
I.read the article and I understand that the foul play suspected might have been to do with an attempted abortion

Or was the butcher suspected of butchering his wife .
Poor Fanny she took on 2 step daughters then had 4 children herself and was pregnant ( enceinte) when she died
