Two Hetherington Sisters, Brampton

Hello,

I'm looking for some help in regards to my two 3x great aunts that I've come to a dead end with.

Born to Joseph Hetherington and Elizabeth Davidson

Mary Ann Hetherington

Born abt. May 1853 Brampton

I've found her on the 1861, 1871 and 1881 census. In 1881 she is Lodging with an Elizabeth Moat in Carlisle occupation Woolen Weaver (Cloth).

Sarah Hetherington

Born abt. July 1857 Brampton

I've found her on the 1861, 1871 and 1881 census. In 1881 she is boarding with the Nixon family in Carlisle, occupation Power Loom Weaver Woolen Mill.

Thefe are 2 Sarah Hetherington marriages in Carlisle - 1882 & 1883.  Have you already investigated & ruled them out?

The 1882 Marriage to Robert Armstrong, the Sarah Hetherington there was born in Northumberland.
