John Victor Peter Alcock died Aug 29 1979 buried Abbey Cemetery. Wife and two daughters.

His (second) wife died Sept 1999 with Sadlier’s Cross address, in Dec 1999 auction of contents of late Captain and Mrs Alcock The Rectory Bantry.

That looks like the Alcocks lived in the old rectory and the Skinners lived in the lodge nearer the cross roads as seen on the old maps.

His grandfather was a Vicar but anyone can live in an old rectory.

Yes that’s it and the lodge was near the gate. The house today on eircode is the lodge or a later rebuild of it.
