Help deciphering cause of death

I'd appreciate any help with what the cause of death is on this death certificate, I can't make out much except that maybe he was struck by something ???

Fractured skull …….    ………  temporal (………. backward).

Struck by an auto on Prov (Provincial) Hwy (Highway) County(?) Rd (Road?) 2
