Commonwealth War Graves Commission are appealing for blood relatives of Pvt Harry Bloom -  202216 - Lancashire Fusiliers - died 14/12/1917 - burial Crumpsall Jewish Burial Ground.

The Memorial marking the grave of Pvt Bloom no longer provides adequate commemoration. The commission are in the process of producing a new headstone to mark his grave.

His parents are Louis Bloom and Rebecca nee Baum.
Louis was from Russia and Rebecca from Poland and they were of the Jewish faith.
Deleted death of Rebecca as DOB did not match or was close to 1939 register.

Saul 1889 reg Prestwich died 1891 reg. Salford  age 2
Joseph 1891 reg. Salford  died 1896 age 4 reg. Prestwich
Sissie 1893 reg. Prestwich have not found a death but not on 1901 or 1911 census
HARRY 1896 reg. Prestwich
Rose 1899 reg Liverpool
Leah 1904 reg. Liverpool.

Perhaps Jewish Gen can also be of assistance.

Theresa married Leon Lustgarten 6 November 1913 (added Langston to his last name) he died 21 July 1942.
Theresa married 2nd Benjamin H Stamm 1956
She died December 1976 as Theresa Stamm buried Manchester

One child Bernard Sydney Lustgarten -Langston born 1 August 1914. Died 21 January 1982
Married Ita B Sirito 1942 (Betty)  died 1988
