D’Pharaoh Miskwaatez Loescher McKay Woon-A-Tai
« on: Friday 09 May 25 18:12 BST (UK) »
One of my sons has just seen the film ‘Warfare’ which he said was ‘nerve shredding to say the least.’

I was struck by the name of one of the actors. Oh for an ancestor with such a name when faced with a search for John Smith in a Census…

No doubt there have been posts on RC with a similar theme of unusual names but I wondered what the longest recorded name might be.
Patton Antrim, Stockton on Tees
Smith Elgin, Skye of Curr, Speyside
Cumming Speyside
McQueen Speyside
Gentleman Hawick
McPhee Lanarkshire

This man has the most middle names. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hubert_Blaine_Wolfeschlegelsteinhausenbergerdorff_Sr.

Much easier than anyone with an ancestor called Patrick Murphy in the 1851 census who said "Ireland" as his birthplace, and was 70 in 1851.

I have a James Smith, died in 1849, Oxford, said he was not born in county (Oxon) in 1841. I hope he was from a nearby county.
